The American Society for Laser Acupuncture Therapy (ASLAT) was founded in June of 2006. The Society is the brain child of Dr. Steve Liu. Dr. Liu had a vision of advancing acupuncture therapy by introducing low-level laser technology, which he considered it to be the 21st century acupuncture. It’s non-invasive, painless, and “green” - no disposals of paper, plastics, and metals as after using of traditional packaged stainless needles.
